Cascarones by the kids..


A day of home baked hot cross buns,

mini pinatas (cascarones), family,

dad makes breakfast, the hare has been..

  1. I so wish I had known about cascarones sooner. Our Easter Sunday tomorrow will be with a large Mexican/American family. What fun it would have been to arrive with a basket of them.

  9. Such beautiful eggs - sounds like a great holiday! I remember those as well, we had them like that - real egg shells with iconography, candy & confetti inside --- thanks for bringing back that memory!

  10. I did these one Easter with some Mexican friends! What a RIOT! Seriously! I was picking glitter out of my hair for hours. The men (who were too cool to participate) roasted a goat in the backyard while we chased each other around the house - LOL!
