British Museum mummies, Londino

After Italy, the UK. The British Museum and all its amazing mummies made for great entertainment and wonderful sketch opportunities
for myself and the children..

It is truly amazing how large pieces of other cultures artifacts are housed in London - I wonder when they will come asking for them all back LOL :-)

    Embarrassingly I have never been to the British Museum. My excuse is it's 420 odd miles away ;o) Mind you if YOU managed to make it from 4,000 odd miles away, maybe I should make the effort :oD

    Joanne, Yes the museums are still free - a small donation of 2 pounds is suggested but it is totally optional they just have big bins to toss in your pounds or euros and many put more - the museums are so great!

    I loved the museums in London. What a wonderful canvas you have to draw from. So inspiring. The sketches are fun, to see history and culture through another's eyes.
