May Day



Off to school with a backpack full of..

 

flowers!

queen of the angels, queen of the May'

My grandmother used to love this song.. and so it haunts me as the children sing at school today, simply parading, offering their flowers.. submitting their hearts..

    your tulips are like flames of love for mary! thank you especially for sharing this tender memory of your grandmother. music seems to keep our memories in the cells of every note, unleashing such deep emotion when heard once more. i love that hearing this song fills you with her presence. sharing this you have certainly evoked deep love of family past in me.
