Your mother was a true princess in every sense of the word. She was patient and kind, and rejoiced in the truth. I do not remember a time when your mama spoke a cruel word or laughed at someone else’s expense. She was neither envious nor boastful and always more interested in others than in herself. In the whole of my life I have only met two people who so clearly thought things through before they spoke. Your mom endured all things, hoped all things and believed all things. With her strength and quiet, your mother touched many.
I recall your mothers clear eyes and her smile and it stills my soul. It is a gift that your mom has left with many and it is a quietude that you will always find tucked in beside your heart. Your mom is a genuine princess, an angel, and I know she looks down and cares for you from above. She is a rare creature of God. Call to her when you are in need, ask her to pray for you in times of sadness and of joy, close your eyes, find your stillness, she is there.
With much love xxxx L

its been a crazy month - 4 friends have passed on and sooo young! art is therapeutic - this is an excerpt from my contribution to a book of memories we are writing for the daughters 10 and 12 - that they might know more of their mother as they grow older. Thank you for your heartfelt comments. Art can be great therapy! Enjoy every moment - every day above ground is a blessing xxxx.
