Our many Goddesses ~ by L Moore
tiny, tender, earth's
greening shoots; primavera
tomorrow's garden
Today the kids and I hoe,
laughing, stretching out, digging deep
spring awakens an inner vigour;
a need to plant, to be one with the earth,,
a great joy from depths within
and so the cycle begins again,
planting, growth, abundant harvest
honouring her,
this month of May

Wonderful Haiku and gardening is a wonderful experience. We are doing that right now as well. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteWonderful!
ReplyDeletePerhaps... this is exactly where I will land. In your lovely garden. It has been lovely to land here today... amongst your homage to planting and these goddesses of spring...
ReplyDeleteIt is exciting to watch the garden grow. I have some peppers already. (Planted 6 weeks ago) We plant early here in the desert. ENJOY the fruits of your labor.
