Hope

Kristen's Flowers, age 13

Hope is a magic word,

curled up in the bud of every flower,

kissed on the roseblushed clouds of dawn,

sprayed sterling across the stars of the deep night sky..

may we each imbibe,

the grace of hope..

    2. A note to clarify - though both my daughter and my son are wonderful artists, this one is not theirs, rather a good friend of theirs, and the daughter of my dear friend Inga in who's memory I wrote this post. Inga's daughter painted this for a school fundraiser and I had the winning bid - I thought as she was the artist is was most suitable for the post, Hope, inspired by and in memory of her mom who guides us from the other side.

  16. I agree with the delicate colors of your watercolors. It is so beautiful and indeed fits well with the poem. A true artist can do that.

  17. beautiful painting, esp. for a 13 year old. I pray she's doing all right with the loss of her mum - even as it affected all those close to her. Beautiful tribute.
